Our Beliefs

What We Believe as a Congregation...

We believe that God wants everyone to be part of His Family. (I Peter 3:18, II Peter 3:9)

We are an independent, New Testament-based body of believers and

followers of Jesus Christ as our Savior and King.

We believe that God is Three-in-One:

God the Father

God the Son(Jesus the Christ)

and God the Holy Spirit.

In essential, unity; (John 17:21-22)

in non-essentials, liberty; (e.g. Rom 14:2-6)

in all things, love.(Gal 5;6b)

We believe that God has a plan and a mission for our lives,

and that by our study, prayer, and working together as a church family,

we can find out what God's will is for us. (Eph 2:10, Jer 29:11, Rom 12;1-2)

We Believe that the Bible is God's Word for us today (IITim 3:16-17)

and we judge all traditions, beliefs, and creeds outside the Bible by its standards.

(We encourage the use of a variety of translations.)

We believe in supporting missions:

17% of our general fund giving goes

to help others around the world.

Colossians 2:8-See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
